  • First, you must click on the answer key link on the JEE Main official website.
  • Then, you have to provide the JEE Main application form number and the birth date.
  • Now, click on the submit button to view the answer on your screen

JEE Main Answer Keys – Procedure of payment of fees for challenging

The procedure towards challenging JEE Main Answer Key 2020 is to go to the official site of JEE Main constituted by the National Testing Agency. Then candidates need to choose the answers to be challenged and pay a fee of 1000 INR per question for the same. Due to the online mode of payment, all payments would be strictly made using a credit card, debit card or net banking only.

Step 1 Release of answer key

The first step towards challenging the answer key is to wait for the answer key to be posted on the official site of JEE Main. Downloading of JEE Main Answer KeysOnce the JEE Main Answer Keys have been released on the official website, it will be visible on the screen. Candidates need to enter their application number and date of birth to download the answer key. Click on submit, and the answer key would be downloaded in the PDF format on your system.

Step 2 Apply on portal

After the successful choosing and uploading of the answer key has been done, the processing fees have to be made via digital payment methods. The amount will be calculated per question; it is 1000 INR per answer challenged.

How can you calculate your score through JEE Main Answer Keys?

After the test-takers have viewed the JEE Main Answer Keys along with OMR sheet/JEE Main Response sheet, they can compare their answers with the answers given in the answer key. The test-takers will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer. For every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

Without any attempt of any particular question, the candidate will be marked zero for that. On the basis of this marking scheme, one will be able to get an approximate estimate of the total marks to be obtained in JEE Main.
